TIDES OF TRANSFORMATION
With my graduation collection, Tides Of Transformation, I aim to showcase the transformative power of upcycling and the endless possibilities it offers to streetwear and fashion. By reimagining existing materials, deconstructing, and reassembling them, I seek to find unexpected beauty in every imperfect piece.
The goal of this project is to showcase the potential of upcycling—not only as a solution to the industry's waste problem but also as a source of creative inspiration. During my research, I came across the idea that not only does clothing transform throughout its existence, but people do as well. This research direction led to the final concept and moodboard for this collection, forming the starting point for the actual design process.
The entire lineup of this collection is crafted in a collage style, aligning with my upcycling approach of using existing elements to forge something new.

This collection embraces a fluid approach, with prints created in a dynamic collage style. During the process, I gathered every piece of fabric featuring prints that resonated with the concept. Beyond prints, collaging and patchworking small fabric pieces played a key role throughout the collection, particularly in the denim.
Denim, laser-engraved water prints, raw edges, patchwork, and collage elements are woven into the collection, each playing their own part in the overarching concept and message.
